Due to growth within our Company, we are looking for a driven, experienced, Accounts Receivable/Administration Assistant. i-Motor is a leading IT company within the Automotive Industry, located in Sandringham, Melbourne.

You will receive training under the supervision of the accounts team in the day-to-day operations of the business. You will receive training on multiple software packages to assist with the variety of accounting and administration tasks.

You will need to be a motivated, organised, efficient and accurate. You will liaise with clients regarding their accounts queries by email and phone while providing excellent customer service and assistance.

Job Description

So here’s what the role involves:
Monitoring all accounts for adherence to our terms and conditions for timely payments.

Working within Xero accounting software.

Maintaining the company data base and updating records to ensuring accuracy.

Handling sensitive and confidential information with honesty and integrity.

Learning how to work as part of the accounting team to record data, track information, and support the company and/or customers.

Taking on additional tasks or projects to learn more about accounting and office procedures/operations.


What you will bring to the role:
Experience in similar Accounts Receivable & Administration role is preferable.

Excellent verbal & written communication skills & excellent phone manner.

Proficiency with Xero, Microsoft Excel, Word and Office programs preferred.

Build & maintain relationships with our customers & internal teams.

Adapt to processes and procedures to manage varied account requirements.

Previous experience and understanding of accounting, administration, and financial principles.

High level of efficiency, accuracy, and responsibility.

Motivation and a strong desire to take on new challenges and learn as much as possible.
